Course Length: 8 hours
Course Description
Professional Night Vision is designed to focus on the manipulation of and practical application of NVG systems. Curriculum will cover NVG and MFAL (Multifunction Aiming Laser) manipulation techniques as well as MFAL zeroing theory and techniques. The course includes extensive manipulation and live fire range drills designed to build a solid foundation of competency in nolight environments.

Required equipment
- Rifle with at least 3 magazines (Rifle must have a sling)
- Rifle needs to be zeroed prior to the class
- MFAL (Multifunction Aiming Laser)
- Rifle mounted light and sufficient batteries (Required)
- Night Vision Unit
- Helmet or skullcrusher with shroud
- Night vision mount and JArm
- Handgun with at least 3 magazines
- Holster and magazine pouches (At least one pistol pouch and one rifle pouch)
- Holster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the firearm from falling out during moderate physical activity. SERPA style holsters will not be permitted.
- Handgun mounted light (Recommended) and sufficient spare batteries
- Handheld flashlight and sufficient spare batteries (Required)
- Headlamp or small task light for administrative functions
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Pants, long sleeve shirts and hats are recommended
- Close toed shoes
- Plate carrier with armor (recommended)
- Ballistic Helmet (recommended)
- 300-500 rounds rifle ammunition (No green tip or armor piercing ammunition)
- 100 rounds handgun ammunition
