Professional Handgun Shoot House

Course Length: 8 hours

Course Description

Professional Handgun Shoot house is a tactics-based course which will give the Citizen, Law Enforcement Officer or Military Personnel the needed skills to work in an ever changing urban environment. The techniques are learned through square range movement and tactics-based skill building drills as well as shoot house exercises. Students will also test skills in the shoot house through the scenarios. Students will gain experience with the techniques as an individual and as a small team.

Required equipment

• Handgun with at least 3 magazines
• Holster and magazine pouch
  • Holster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the handgun from falling out during moderate physical activity. SERPA style holsters will not be permitted.
• Eye protection
• Electronic hearing protection
• Weather appropriate clothing
  • Pants, long sleeve shirts and hats are recommended
• Close toed shoes
• Plate carrier with armor (recommended)
• Ballistic Helmet (recommended)
• 500 rounds handgun ammunition
