End User Low Light Rifle
Course Length: 8 hours
Course Description
End User Low Light Rifle is an all-encompassing low light course allowing Civilians, Law Enforcement Officers, and Military Personnel the opportunity to work with a Weapon Mounted Light and handheld light. This curriculum focuses on the skills and tactics needed to succeed in low light environments through specific drills designed to reinforce the importance of proper techniques.

- Equipment selection
- Searching techniques
- Engagement techniques
- Skill building drills
- Post engagement processes
Required equipment
- Rifle with at least 3 magazines
- Handgun with at least 3 magazines
- Rifle mounted light (Recommended) and sufficient spare batteries
- Rifle sling
- Handheld flashlight and sufficient spare batteries (Required)
- Holster and magazine pouch
- Holster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the handgun from falling out during moderate physical activity. SERPA style holsters will not be permitted.
- Eye protection
- Electronic hearing protection
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Pants, long sleeve shirts and hats are recommended
- Close toed shoes
- 250 rounds rifle ammunition
- 50 rounds handgun ammunition
- Headlamp or small task light for administrative functions
