DESCRIPTION:Course Length: 8 hours\nCourse Description\nLow light handgun shoot house is an intermediate tactics based course which will give the Citizen, Law Enforcement Officer or Military Personnel the needed skills to work in an ever changing urban environment in low light conditions. The techniques are learned through square range movement and tactics based skill building drills as well as shoot house exercises.  Students will work on handheld and weapon mounted light techniques.  Students will test acquired skills during live fire shoot house scenarios.  Students will gain experience with the techniques as an individual and as a small team.\nInstructional material covered\n\nFirearms safety\nConcepts / mindset\nSearching techniques\nEngagement techniques\nLow light techniques\nSkill building drills\nScenario based exercises\nWorking in an urban environment during hours of darkness\nThreat Identification during hours of darkness\nPost engagement processes\n\nRequired equipment\n\nHandgun with at least 3 magazines\nHolster and magazine pouches (At least one pistol pouch)\n\nHolster must attach to the belt and provide sufficient retention to prevent the firearm from falling out during moderate physical activity.
